1984 by George Orwell

Written in 1948, 1984 was George Orwell’s chilling prophecy about the future. And while 1984 has come and gone, Orwell’s narrative is timelier than ever.1984 presents a startling and haunting vision of the world, so powerful that it is completely convincing from start to finish. No one can deny the power of this novel, its hold on the imaginations of multiple generations of readers, or the resiliency of its admonitions—a legacy that seems only to grow with the passage of time.

Title: 1984

Author: George Orwell

Publisher: Signet Classics

Genre: Dystopian

When I started reading this book, I hated it. I didn't particularly like the format and I the story just moved really slowly. As the story moved on, I began to connect with the characters and everything. I was supper surprised. By the end, I was really into it and it just got me right in the feels.  It definitely ended differently than I had thought but that was refreshing, because, in my opinion, the rest of the book was predictable. Thankfully, there was a bit of romance thrown into the dystopian landscape which was nice. I didn't like this book until i was done with it, if that means anything but it is a great classic, if that is your thing. Near the end of the book, I felt like I was getting a pchysicology lesson which I didn't really like but yea. I think that this book being a school thing made me not like it as much but, in the end, it turned out all right.
