So my name is Laken!(Obviously) I love books and reading. I also love talking to people about what I read and that's where you come in! I am a devoted Christian and I love reading religious books. I live in a small town in South Carolina, which is where the name "Laken's Books in Boone Town" comes from! I am in Marching Band and I play Softball! (When I'm not reading of course! I honestly live in fictional worlds more than I do the real world!) And that is just a little blurb about me! 
What book sparked my interest in reading?
That would probably be Harry Potter. I'm not sure which one. Maybe all of them but I remember reading them and afterwards I never wanted to stop.
Books v.s. Movies?
It honestly depends. Some books I absolutely hate but I love the movie. And vice versa. I guess it really depends on the author and the directors/actors that really make or break it for me.
Why did I start the book blog?
Well, I really love talking to people about what I have been reading and about future reads. This makes it possible for me to reach out to people that I never would have dreamed of talking to normally but now, through the magic of the internet, I can.
